Assign your Report Node Definition to the appropriate process scheduler Server Definition
How to assign your Report Node Definition to the appropriate process scheduler Server Definition.
1. Navigate to PeopleTools, Process Scheduler Manager, Use, Server Definitions. Search for your process scheduler Server Definition and click on the hyperlink.
2. When the Server Definition appears, click on the Distribution Tab and use the magnifying glass button next to search for your 'Distribution Node Name.'
3. Input a value for "Maximum Transfer Retries:". This is the limit on how many times the software will attempt to transfer reports to the defined report repository. This is a variable setting, but a good number to start with is 10.
4. Input a value for "Interval for Transfer Attempt:". This the time delay between attempts to transfer reports to the defined report repository. This is a variable setting, but a good number to start with is 60.
5. If you want the log files for your processes to be transferred to the report repository for viewing upon failure or success, make sure you mark the flag for "Transfer Log Files to the Report Repository."
6. Save the Server Definition. A reboot of your process scheduler is needed in order for these changes to take affect.
